Number one seed, Dinara Safina will play her quarter final match against Sabine Lisicki on Tuesday at the Center Court, after beating Amelie Mauresmo 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 and making history as the first pair to play under the Center Court's 80million pound new roof.

Also playing on the center court later today is Serena Williams as she faces Victoria Azarenka while her sister, Venus Williams and Agnieszka Radwanska slug it out on Court One.

In the men's quarterfinals fixtures on Wednesday, Lleyton Hewitt will play Andy Roddick, Tommy Haas will brace up to meet Novak Djokovich while 6ft 10 Ivo Karlovic will pose a threat to number two seed, Roger Federer.
