“Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs” has seven original sound tracks, but sadly only two are available on the sound track album. The content of the songs are lighthearted, fun filled and frothy, which is almost like the movie itself. The “Ice Age” cast sing the melodious The Whiffenpoof Song and the “Walk The Dinosaur” (both from the 80s).

Here is the list of all the songs that appear in the movie. The opening scene, which finds the girl squirrel features the song “You’ll Never Find Another Love Like Mine” sung by Lou Rawls. The “Baby Dinosaurs- Walk The Dinosaur” and “The Whiffenspoof Song” (the scene is unknown) by Queen Latifa, George S. Pomeroy, Rudy Valee and Moss Hart. “Singing in the chasm- The Chipmunk Song” (Christmas Don’t Be Late) performed by Chad Fischer. “Squirrels dancing the Tango”, the instrumental version of “You’ll Never Find Another Love Like Mine” by Roger Wilkie, Frank Morocco and Randy Kerber.

Then there is the absolutely adorable song “Alone Again (Naturally)” by Chad Fischer, which is played in the background when Acorn is following the squirrels in love. The track “Adagio from Spartacus” performed by Aram Khachaturian is also a part of the movie. The original musical score for “Ice Age: Dawn Of The Dinosaurs” is done by John Powell.

A music video of the song “Walk The Dinosaur” had also been released a few days back, with loads of scenes from the animated movie, featuring the three lead characters of Manny, Sid and Diego. The adorable animals are found grooving and jiving to the tune in the video.
