Wanda Nara managed to escape a band of kidnappers who intercepted her in a favela of Porto Alegre, Brazil.
The event took place yesterday evening when the Argentine star was driving her van, along with her mother and her small son Valentino, down the streets of the Brazilian city to Gremio stadium.
As they did not know the way, Wanda’s mother asked a cabdriver for directions, the driver told them to follow him.
Everything seemed normal and Wanda did not realize that in addition to the taxi a motorbike was escorting her, until they took them into a favela (shanty town) and tried to kidnap her.
The model, in spite of the nerves, could react on time and escaped at full speed.
Wanda immediately told her husban, Gremio footballer Maxi Lopez what had happened. Fortunately, Valentino was asleep while all this was happening.
