Chace Crawford Gets 'Footloose' (And A Few Sore Muscles) As He Dishes On Preparing For His Big Role

Chace Crawford is a busy man. In between filming "Gossip Girl" and canoodling with a certain "Twilight" hottie, the 24-year-old has been hitting the dance floor to prepare for his starring role as Ren McCormack in the remake of '80s classic "Footloose." And he has the sore muscles to prove it. "I'm training right now in New York and it's intense," Chace told MTV News during the Teen Choice Awards. "I've got all these muscles I didn't know I had. I'm sore."

Dance is only part of the equation, however, for this remake. Music also plays an integral part, and Chace admitted that it will be hard to top Kenny Loggins' barn-burning title tune. "They've got some stuff up their sleeves," Chace said. "It's not going to be the exact same. They've got a good vision for it. It's going to be original but woven in."
