Vanessa Hudgens won’t be singing for her next big movie. Hudgens will play Linda Taylor in Beastly, a modernized, pseudo version of Beauty and the Beast.
The High School Musical star will have to use beastlier language than in her tweenie audience is used to, but the actress is convinced fans will understand once they see the flick.
Beastly is scheduled for a 2010 release.
